Feeding Guidelines: Butcher's Best Classic Blend can be fed wet or dry. If moistened, add 1/4 cup of water for each cup of Butcher's Best Classic Blend. The feeding rates shown are guidelines and will vary with activity, climate temperature, life-stage, breed, etc. Be sure to keep your pet in good condition and check weight regularly. Puppies may be started on Butcher's Best Classic Blend as soon as they are old enough to take solid nourishment (approximately 5 to 6 weeks of age). Puppies should be fed more often (four times per day) providing food for fifteen minute intervals free choice. Pregnant and lactating female dogs will require two to three times as much food as the adult feeding guidelines shown. When switching to a new food, gradually increase the new food and decrease the old food over a 7 to 10 day period of time until your pet is fully eating only Butcher's Best Classic Blend. Take your pet to your veterinarian annually. Provide fresh water in a clean water bowl daily. Daily Feeding Guide: Toy (5-10 lbs): 1/2 to 1 cup. Small (11-25 lbs): 1 to 2 cups. Medium (26-50 lb): 2 to 3-1/4 cups. Large (50-100 lbs): 3-1/4 to 5-1/2 cups. Use a standard 8 oz. dry measuring cup.
